New PC: What frames?

You will certainly get 15 fps, maybe even 20.

Properly set up, it will run very smoothly.The memory is not matched well. 1.65v will work with sandy bridge if it will run those timings stable at 1.65v, but you won't be able to boost voltage a little as is sometimes required with memory. Better to find a 1.5v or lower memory kit.Gpu: best bang for buck is gtx560ti. If money doesn't matter try a factory oc'ed gtx580. (I prefer evga)Also, why 3 hard drives? I'd recommend a 320 velociraptor for os/fsx and a 1tb whatever for storage.

ok thanks,was recomended by the person who makes the computer to have 3 drives for: 2 identical drives (2*500GB) to run parallel in RAID0 + 1TB of storage spacePlease explain what ssd is?The memory?? Well i dont know much so if you could send me a link via www.eclipsecomputers.com than that would be great (looking for 8GB but not sure what wattage with the highest cache??)GPU: well again i want quite good graphics and from the previous posted person; 15-20 frames is nowhere near good enough!! i what at the very, very least 30!! even 40-50!Thanks guys for all the replies but as you would understnad, i want a good computer that can run the NGX and all my scenery very well :)And please reply aslo if i have missed out anything like wireless, what about that??? See my sig below for system details, with my NGX I'm getting min mid 30's and sometimes just over 50 FPS at UK2000's EGGD & Horizon photo scenery and my own scale VFR scenery models added (no limiter yet - new system so still setting up).With Careando's HD C310 (also a very system hungry aircraft) I'm getting 60 FPS easy.Hope this helps.PC cost me £1350 and is a flight sim PC only, runs like a train. Anyone in the UK looking for a PC check out PC Specialist ... there darn good.For anyone thats intrested:There is a UK retailer of O&O Defrag who have a special offer on Defrag Pro 15 for less than £15 (you will have to google cuz cant remember their addie), offer runs until 31st Dec I think.

wow! At the moment i have so many different opinions but i think that ill go with you dave i have heard that RAID0 is good. So HDD wise: 1TB Storage space + 2*500GB identical drives running parallel in RAID0 format, GPU: NVIDIA if possible but still not sure what GPU, RAM: well,...still confused about that because there has been many opinions for that aswell. But thinking 8GB DDR3 1600mhz???

Let looks like a perfect setup to me, except for one thing! Your CPU. DO NOT buy the i7 2600K, it's a great CPU, no doubt, but for less money, you can get an i5 2500K which will perform exactly identical in FSX. So and i7 2600K @ 4.5 GHz vs i5 2500k @ 4.5 GHz = exactly same performance! In this way, you can save 100$ and spend you money on a better graphics card, wich will actually make a difference. Like a GTX 570, Gigabyte, Asus and EVGA are great! Yes, I know that FSX is 75% CPU dependant, but the i5 2500K will perform exactly the same to the i7 2600K, so I'd say save those 100$ bucks!

Looks like a nice set up. If you want my opinion though, i would change that CPU Cooler to a Noctua NH-D14 (The best IMHO), especially if you are overclocking which you must be if you are going with a 2600k which as Arjen said, should be replaced with a 2500k if you are only using for FSX. Wish somebody had given me that advice when i was building and i would have saved $100Regards,
