ASE and New Zealand: always snow?

Recommended Posts

Guest

I have ASE set to Force to sim time. Works like a charm in the Pacific Northwest. But now I have gone down under and ASE is giving me snow all the time in spring...! Seems ASE doesn't know I am on the other side of the world...? What can I do to remedy this?

Hi,Does AS recognize that you have moved? Is Lock to Closest checked on, on the Report Screen?

Hm, that's odd... I never check the report page but I just switched to it and noticed Lock to closest was on already. I started FSX, started the flight... no snow... and when I switched to ASE I noticed the airport had indeed changed... Weird... I suppose that should also work when you do not switch to the report tab...?

Right, switching to the Report screen should not make a difference. Maybe you were not giving AS enough time to change weather conditions?
