December 23, 201114 yr Dear avsimmers,I am putting together a rig for FS X, and for ultimate experience I want to include a 'big' TV.I wonder if FS X supports 2560x1080 resolution (21:9 cinema view), or is it limited to 1920x1080?What exactly does the fsx.cfg line wideviewaspect=TRUE do?Regards,Sander
December 23, 201114 yr It sure does. My 27" iMac screen has a resolution of 2560x1440 and it works great. I have no idea what exactly wideviewaspect=TRUE does, though... December 23, 201114 yr I run 5960x1080 surround with no problem, you need to have wideviewaspect=true or else the view is to zoomed in and you can't see the gauges.
December 23, 201114 yr I think wideaspect=true just moves the default zoom level back to take into account the aspect ratio. Glenn Ryzen 3700X, X570 Pro Wifi, 32GB 3600mhz RAM, Nvidia Titan Xp "Galactic Empire", RM750x PSU, H700 case, 2x NVMe M2 SSD, 1x SATA SSD
