Tapatalk Fails To Log In

Recommended Posts

I have been using Tapatalk quite happily to access the AVSIM Forums on my iPhone 3GS for at least a couple of months, until yesterday. Now, every time I try to log in, I get a message saying "username or password incorrect." I have tried deleting and re-installing from the App Store, but without success. I can still read the forums, but I cannot use any functions which require me to log in.Have any of the recent forum changes affected Tapatalk functionality?

Regards,

PD

I know this is a bit of a stale topic now, but I can't login via Tapatalk either. Have been using login via FB on the site via PC, but my FB pwd, old AVSIM u/name and pwd all fail on Tapatalk. Does anyone know what userID and pwd I should actually be using with Tapatalk? Thanks, Leo

leostr, I use my AVSIM forums login. That is what you should use once the app is installed.

Sorry, I'm having problems again with Tapatalk on my iPhone. For the past day or so, whenever I try to sign in it says, "Login Failed. You have either entered an invalid username/password, or your administrator has restricted access via Tapatalk."It has no problem with any other forum.

PD

it's working fine for me on Android, except I cannot post or reply. I am looking into that now, but logging in and reading works just fine from Android. Dunno what else to tell you.Ok it's working fine with everything now. I was logged in with wrong credentials. With correct it works fine. I sent this post from the app.Sent from my Desire HD using Tapatalk

I guess it was something on my end. I was using the correct credentials but it just wouldn't happen, even after an update a few hours ago. I deleted and re-installed, and now all is OK. The strange thing is that only my AVSIM account was affected, and nothing else.
