Cold & Dark drain my batteries

...... I turn everything off and if I leave for couple of hours, no power, can't start, and need to swap airplane in order to gain power back.Any idea :Thinking:CheersYair

EDITOops, misread the question, sorry... Batteries don't last long in FSX, which is a known problem (which can be fixed with FSUIPC). Don't know if this is also a problem with cold and dark though...

Try refreshing the airplane of your choice. Open the menu bar at the top of your FSX screen (windowed or full screen mode) and click on "select airplane" (or whatever it's called) and select the airplane you are already using. Don't know if you have already tried this but it's worth a shot. I have to ask though, why not just save your flight, exit FSX and then reopen the simulator when ready to fly again??

..this is what I'm doingA. Saving the flightB . Refreshing the airplane.ButIf power is down and all system are off, it should not happend, no ?? ..and on top of this, I can turn everything off and come back only to find out theat the GPS is on and I here the NAV ident and beeps ..... totaly weirdYair

You need to power everything down and then save the flight. What AC is this?Once you refresh the aircraft the panel reverts back to its default settings.

.... cool, I'll work on it tonight .... ..but, again, if all switches are off why this thing is happening at all, ?????? Seems to me like some glitch somewhereYair
