January 6, 201214 yr any Ideas for flight routes with the 737/600/700 in europe!thanks and greetsmaik
January 6, 201214 yr I can highly recommend Scandinavia, flying SAS routes in Denmark, Norway and Sweden.Within Norway and Sweden and between the two and also Denmark plenty of routes between 30 mins and 2 hours. Especially Norway and Sweden offers the most beautiful scenery in Europe. Great airport addons include (I own them so I know):ENBR (Bergen) by Cloud 9.ENVA (Trondheim-Vaernes) (published by Aerosoft)ENZV (Stavanger-Sola) (Aerosoft)ENGM (Oslo Gardemoen) (Aerosoft)ESSA (Stockholm Arlanda in Sweden) (Aerosoft)EKCH (Copenhagen Kastrup) Scansim Scenerys (Simmarket). For rest of Europe Aerosoft.Futher more you'll find adozens of freeware scenerys for both Sweden (http://www.freewares...fsx/sweden.html), Norway (http://www.freewares...fsx/norway.html) and Denmark (http://www.freewares...sx/denmark.html)SAS routes inclues every of the above interlinked in flights all day, and is operated by both 600/700 and 800 amongst others (actually also CRJs MD 80s and airbus). Many of the approaches are very scenic and often very windy and very low vis ;)Further more SAS departs Oslo, Copenhagen and Stockholm to every major airport in Europe daily (flight time 1-4 hours for all of europe).VATSIM often offers excellent coverage.See and find actual and real life CFMU validated routes on http://www.eurofpl.eu/ - sign up for free.EnjoyMas Edited January 6, 201214 yr by mas618 Martin Jensen
January 6, 201214 yr I definitely agree with Mas - Scandinavia is a great place to fly.If you like challenging approaches, have a go at landing at Innsbruck where you have mountains surrounding the airport. Landing at Fuchal, Madeira is also great fun. :)Kasper Petersen

January 7, 201214 yr Well flying for scandinavian virtual i confirm nice places to land in Norway are Bardufoss, Bodo, Tromso, Trondheim, Kirkenes, Alta.Anyway the most challenging i found in Europe so far is Sion in Switzerland (amazing scenery from fly logic) you have to make a very steep approach from the VOR with no ILS and with low clouds...is just crazy to have mountains everywhere and just rely on instruments without seeing anything. I recommend to use switzerland professional x also from flylogic to have accurate landclass and wonderful environment.

January 7, 201214 yr Anyone have some info on any Russian routes that the 37 operates? Patrick Houghton
January 7, 201214 yr f you like challenging approaches, have a go at landing at Innsbruck where you have mountains surrounding the airport. Landing at Fuchal, Madeira is also great fun. :)Totally agree. And you might want to try departing from London City (EGLC) with its 4948' runway. This makes the flights challenging at both ends :) - Jev McKee, AVSIM member since 2006. Specs: i7-2600K oc to 4.7GHz, 8GB, GTX580-1.5GB, 512GB SSD, Saitek Pro Flight Yoke System, FSX-Acceleration
