Maybe, just maybe... we should all support MS Flight. It could be our last hope.

I just cant accept Xplane as it is now. Those so called plausible environments are a joke. For now I intend to stick with FSX for the foreseeable future.

If Flight turns out to be as I expect, I will download it (since it's free), but I will refuse to purchase any DLC for it*.Imho, if you want to support flight simulation sims, it might be better to reward those companies that are putting out real sims:Xplane, DCS: A-10C Warthog, Rise of Flight, even Prepar3d. 120 dollars a year for Prepar3d is like buying 2 new pc games a year, not too bad if you go the 10 dollars per month way. *However, if down the road, we get real DLC that turn this game into more of a sim with better graphics I will reconsider, but I am doubtful we will ever see PMDG, RealAir, or A2A types of planes in Flight. Has Realair made any posts regarding Flight?

Hi,That's why some people drive Toyota's and others drive Cadillac's and yes I have considered the long term cost of P3D. Heck I pay more for Netflix now than P3D, and I can assure you my sim gets used way more than the ROKU instant watch box that's in both the living room and bed room.

10 dollars per month X 12 X 6 yrs + additional liscences for p3d + + ++ =???????????????????????????????????????????? Out of my price range. If you say 10.00/mo isnt bad. Thats what the____ is wrong with the whole worlds economy. They ddint consider what it was costing in the long run!
Hi,No serious developer is going to spend months if not years developing PMDG, FSDT, ORBX, FlyTampa type addons for flight if they have to turn over their rights to said product. It's not going to happen.

No, it's $10/mo x however long you keep the subscription-or-A one time purchase of Prepar3D + some (small?) update for for major version updates.I pay more than that for my Netflix subscription!

Whoa, sorry to upset you. Where I come from it not unusual for me and my friends to buy between 10-15 new games per year (for the ps3 and pc). Each one between 24 - 49 dollars. so $120 a year for me, is not too bad. Now I can't speak for anyone but me, but 120 dollars a year is not too bad for me, if like I did for FS9 fllying the B200 by aeroworx with VPA ranking up over 500 hours in two years...I guess I am used to paying over 120 dollars a month for cable tv and phone and internet so if i like something 120 a year is doable, for me.

Hi,I'm not comparing P3D to a Cadillac. I'm comparing a customer who can afford P3D as they can afford a Cadillac, as opposed to someone on a fixed budget who can only afford a Toyota and are not able to swing $10.00 a month for P3D. Rest assured I DO NOT WORK FOR nor DO I HAVE ANY MONETARY INTEREST IN P3D and/or L/M. Well, other than my tax dollars that are used in support of L/M.I'll put in your own language: "I Ain't Chittin Nobody"

P3D a Caddillac?P3D a cadillac. Who do you think your chittin. You work for those people!
Hi,Exactly my point. Someone Like myself who has a six income salary can afford P3D and a Cadillac. Whereas someone on a fixed budget will not be able to afford P3D and may be stuck driving a Toyota.

If you can affort $9.95 / month for P3D and want it, get it.If you cannot affort $9.95 / month, then stick with what you have, or get FLIGHT "basic" for FREE.(1) You get what you pay for.(2) If you cannot afford what you want, you go without. ( and no, you don't just go out and STEAL it )I want a REAL C10. I can want -- but I am very unlikey to ever get one, unless I win the lottery. I have to accept that.Yes, I would like a better SIM than FSX. But it has recently become clear that MS flight is NOT going to be that "better sim" .Microsoft have every right to develop and produce whatever they want. If I don't like it, I don;t have to buy into it.Unlike HEALTH INSURANCE, so far, the US Governement is not trying to FORCE me to buy MS Flight.Sometimes you just have to be content with what you have, and be thankfull.Don't think that I don't feel let down by Microsoft. I do, ( and have been for quite some time)But if Microsoft want to develope FLIGHT as an ARCHADE GAME, they have every right to do so.What is upsetting is being lead on for so long, and being assured that the new MS FLIGHT would be able to provide a silimar and more REALISTIC experience than FSX, only to find out, at the last moment, that it is, in fact, just a One island, One Plane ARCHADE Game. So be it -- time to move on, and be thankfull for what I already have.
