Speaking from the experience of someone who flies an airplane painted a very deep color: That thing is going to be a b*&ch to maintain....

They also want to be careful about which routes they use them on. Parking an all black plane in the desert somewhere can make it get very very hot. Still a cool looking scheme though.

That is one beautiful livery! The black screams importance.Just don't park it in the desert and it will be fine for the folks inside.

What a beautiful paint job! Don't think they have too many deserts to worry about, so they'll do fine. Miss flying on ANZ!

Probably because the dark color doesn't reflect the heat like white does and it probably makes its inner components run at a hotter temperature which reduces their service time./guessing

Hate to be the first person that scratches it :( You can imagine the person driving the catering truck sweating as he approaches the door
