TracknoIR

Recommended Posts

Hi all.Has anyone used or using TracknoIR? I am using it with my logitech 9000pro webcam, but when inside the cockpit (737NGX) it's way too sensitive and the camera view bounces around too much. There isn't a lot of info on it and the instructions don't say a lot regarding sensitivity..Can some post their TracknoIR settings please, or give any advice, on how to get it working to run nice and smooth...Thanks

Check out this thread. Looks like a few people have sensitivity issues with any of those face trackers. On a technical guess, I would say to turn down your fps of the camera (if possible). I have 3 web cams and never used any so no idea their settings. From what I read in the link there, people prefer "FreeTrack". Give that a try.

I got mine working pretty well. It's not the greatest. I've found that Facetrack is a lot better for slower airplanes. I only use it for little VFR flights. Use low smoothing (I use 11), for EWMA I use 88 for min and max and 4 for curve. Then go options: keyboard shortcuts. Set a shortcut for axis inhibitor, and make sure the 3 rotation boxes are unchecked. You'll have to enter the combination every time you start flightsim but it's not a big problem. That's what I use I hope that helps!
