Reality XP crash to desktop

Recommended Posts

I read in another forum, for the B60T, that some guy had success moving the Garmin trainer to his C: root directory but the thread pretty much stopped there lolThe trainer lines in the rxpgns.ini is blank. I filled it in with the location of the trainer but it still CTDsEDIT: ok I tried standard and non-standard trainer installations and regardless of where it was installed to, it CTD'd.

Ok we're getting places I think...I went back over this entire thread again, uninstalled and reinstalled the plane fresh. Uninstalled and reinstalled RXP freshEdited the [window05] in panel.cfg to gauge00=rxpGNS!GNS530, 0,0,512,512 which resulted in the picture below when I press shift-6pa46trxp.jpg

Could that be a license problem of the RXP software? Just guessing though. But you say.

not the reality xp installation, as proven by it working on other aircraft.
So I'm puzzled, to say the least.

Are you saying that the RXP GNS530W works just fine in other aircraft, but it comesup as in your picture in the Carenado with the same rxpgns.ini file? That would be mostpuzzling..

Don't uninstall FSX! That is just going to be a lot of work for no gain!Go one step at a time... re-install the RXP GNS gauge and test it with several airplanes. When that is all good, put it in the Malibu, one step at a time.. don't make too many changes all at once!!

Both RXPGNS.ini files in the planes I have working and the P46 are identical, and since we know RXP actually works, it must be some sort of panel.cfg issue. That, logically in my mind, seems to be the only link.

Makes sense, but double check that you do not have two rxpgns.ini files in the Malibu, onein the panel folder and one in the aircraft folder!

Did you also install the 530 into the Malibu, using the RXP GNS WAAS Config app?You need to do that to get the rxpgns.ini file generated.Alternative is to copy over an ini file from another aircraft.
