2D Cockpit Viewing angle and zoom setting - URGENT

Recommended Posts

Pmdg please helpWhen I load the 737ngx SP1 and choose 2d cockpit the viewing angle and zoom is completely wrong. It's automatically loading with maximum zoom in setting so all you can see on the ground from 2d cockpit is the runway. Please tell me what zoom and viewing angle pmdg designed the 737ngx to be used with so i can fly with the cockpit view as it was intended. Many thanks

I had that issue, but changing my screen resolution of the program to the same as what the Windows settings are resolved it for me. Try that.Andy

First locate your fsx.cfgIn win7 it'll be at C:\Users\(your name)\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSXOpen it with notepad, scroll down to the [graphics] section and look for a setting called WideViewAspect, if using a 16:9 or 16:10 monitor set it to True. If it isn't there, then add the following line;WideViewAspect=True (use False if you're using a 4:3 monitor)That should fix it. If it doesn't then follow the directions in post #2 of this topic (I know it's for a high view, but it still works);http://forum.avsim.n..._1#entry2209497

That is a 16:9 ratio. The NGX is 16:10My above comment should fix your problem.Fred. Edited by RYR738
