ORBX Forum Access

Recommended Posts

Before purchasing an FS product, I normally like to browse the various forums about the product - see what folks are having issues with, what they like, what they don't like.I'm surprised to find that the Unofficial ORBX forum is the only commercial product support forum I cannot browse on Avsim. Why?

Don't know. Give it another try. Clear out your browser's cache, and if that doesn't do it, try an alternative browser.

Still having problems here. It shows there are 6 topics in the forum, but when I enter the forum there is only 1 topic "Sound" showing. I cleared my cache, am using IE8.CheersJack Johnston

I can confirm that some topics seem to vanish and appear again. Using Firefox 9.0.1 and a clear cache at every start. That's an Orbx forum only behaviour as far as I can see.

am using IE8.
Anything holding you back from using IE9? Recommended and it comes for free, Jack. Should also be much faster than #8.

Jack, try it with Firefox please. I have had nothing but problems with IE since v7.

Try this also

Hi everyone,The system defaults to only showing the threads that have been recently updated. When you enter this forum, before you click on a post, you will see a number of options in the blue bar right above the threads. The setting called "custom" will fix that.Kind regards,

@CoolP and Tom,sorry, but this machine is in my office and I am not allowed to update or change anything. Currently IE8 is installed here, so I have to live with it.In any case I found out that by clicking on the Custom bar in the forum, i was able to change the settings and now have no problems any more. Thanks

Changing the custom bar settings fixed it.Took me a minute to find the custom bar though.I have highlighted the custom bar on the attached screenshot for anyone else who might be having a bit of trouble finding it.
