Darn.... I was going to potentially pick up another 8GB kit to max out my system for 16GB.Anyways, is there any downturn from having lots of RAM for overclocking? I feel like I heard one time that the more DIMMS that are installed, the mre stress on the memory controller thus, less overclocking potential. Is this true?

Yup. I read this when I was buying components, that's why I stuffed every slot.
