January 30, 201214 yr I'm talking about realistic ops and not failure modeling. The PT6 is very rugged and overtorque & overtemp doesn't cause an immediate failure IRL.I never said it would fail immediately. Have a few hours on them IRL too :DIt does have consequences though and you cannot go balls to the wall indefinitely. It's a big part in operating turbines and should be modelled.
January 30, 201214 yr Author In that case you have to stick with accusim and forget the C90.Good luck on A2A making a turboprop anytime soon. :)Their approach is so systematic and logical, that they are gonna need to finish the turbojets (Starfighter and Phantom) before thay have a working engine simulation of the turbine. And then, it's all up in the air whether they will do a turboprop in the future.JB Edited January 30, 201214 yr by Buzz313th Buzz313th
January 31, 201214 yr Commercial Member Too bad they aren't offering a ProLine 21 Avionics version.C90 GTX with Rockwell Collins ProLine 21 Avionics and dual FMS.Plenty of Garminized aircraft already available. Ed Wilson Mindstar AviationMy Playland - I69
January 31, 201214 yr Brings me back memories of the fantastic Aeroworx Kingair B200 from FS9. The office in front is so much like the B200 avionics suite. Actually the entire AC is, just a bit smaller. I am looking forward to this one as well. :) Best, Jeff
January 31, 201214 yr Iam talking about no lag between torque and powerlever movement, when props are in governing range. January 31, 201214 yr From A past topic I wrote,"No they don't have it right, There is no lag between power lever movement, and torque gauge needle movment in flight,And a few seconds of lag on the ground(No air load on prop disc). January 31, 201214 yr That cockpit looks real nice! I've been wanting a C90 since I knew what payware wasI've been wanting one ever since I found out about the Aeroworx one was only for FS9, then I hoped Flight1 would pick-up the port to FSX...These guys did a World Tour in a C-90. They even added these ferry tanks:Ferry tank capacities are:Tank 1: 150 US Gal.Tank 2: 115 US Gal.Tank 3: 63 US Gal.So maybe if we all ask Carenado (contact) they will include a long-range version with the ferry tanks!Cheers,- jahman. January 31, 201214 yr I currently fly a 90 from time to time. Put about 75 hours in one last year. Looking forward to this machine.
