Four top quality addon airliners. Which to buy?

Pretty much exactly how I felt about the 377 before I bought it. Didn't quite like the looks at first but as Blaze said it will grow on you. Now it is by far my favorite airliner add-on. I have already logged more hours in it than the PMDG 747 and J41 combined. Not that those add-ons are bad in any way, but the 377 with COTS is just so much more fun.

Have to agree. What was my favorite add-on in FS9 is somewhat lacking in the FSX environment. I just can't figure out what it is.
Is it not simple that the Maddog is not a FSX only plane but a FS9 plane made FSX compatible and that this means problems with performence. Otherwise I already have it.
PMDG MD-11By far my favorite. I even like it more than the NGX.....
Why? Shouldn't the newer NGX be better both in regard to system moddeling and visuals?

1. No kidding. That's why I said "was my favorite add-on in FS9"2. No one mentioned systems fidelity or visuals. He simply said the MD-11 is his favorite.

Captain Sim 707 and 727, CLS 747 (this models the 100/200 and INS nav systems). I bought these 3 based on my nostalgia for old TWA paints, but the CapSim planes (IMO) are great...I have all of them, I don't understand all the flack CapSim gets on these forums.
Me too. Those old horses by CS are musthaves for all lovers of classic aircraft.

I would like to thank all who posted to this thread. And I can say that after thinking about it my conclusion is that the A2A COTS B377 is the winner. The reasons areThe accusim that raises the realism to a whole new level.Extraordinary good performence according to avsim review.Captains log gives purpose to flight and that without having to start other programsAs I sse it the other suggested airliners might match the first point but hardly the others. But of course future releases might change the picture and I'm in no hurry.
