Featured Replies

http://www.carenado.com/CarSite/Portal/index.phpThis should be interesting... hopefully their G1000 will be better than just the default with a minor facelift.Still exciting as I see these things flown everyday in Duluth...

Dang it Carenado is gonna be taking my money between this and the C90 and the recently bought JetProp. They have really good stuff coming out lately.

I definitely didn't see this one coming... I may have to hold out for the Cirrus over the King air lol! I love the Cirrus - it's an excellent performer. The only real problem is it can't carry lots of baggage/pax/fuel because of the weight of the parachute/assembly.

It looks amazing. Who needs MS FLIGHT
+1

I am SUPER EXCITED that Carenado have finally decided to undertake the Cirrus! I hope there is more to the avionics as well, but I really don't care one way or the other. I am purchasing it.

I've been wanting a nice, new Cirrus! Like Ryan mentioned, I very much hope that Carenado goes the route of simulating a proper G1000 unit. The Cirrus Perspective avionics suite is feature rich and very user friendly. It's also a cornerstone of this type of aircraft. Well, that and being a hot rod.

Yes this is good news, I've always wanted a Cirrus. They are setting themselves up though if they don't do the avionics justice. Looks really great so far though - no one can model GA like Carenado and that one shot of the interior looks very promising.

Haters gonna hate. Few people seem unhappy with their latest releases. Sorry you had such a bad experience in the past, but their current stuff is gorgeous, and flies as good as it looks.

To second Hellfire's comment there are a few things that come on in a payware aircraft that are baffeling. Simple issues you wonder why were not corrected. I wonder the level of beta testing done with a rush to get the product to market. I suppose that is the way life is with all games but it gets annoying. I hope my post is not interpreted as a hater post as I love the Caranado aircraft just Would prefer my existing aircraft patched properly please, another half finished aircraft coming.....

Yes, simple issues, fuel cutoff in the 337 for example.

Support issues should be addressed to Carenado support.I think that posting personal feelings toward Carenado support is counter productive and simply wrong! If you don't like the products, don't buy them. I really don't care how you feel. This thread is about a new plane in development, not about Carenado's inability to fix bugy airplanes. Straight%20Face.gifBTW, the SR22 looks good.

You won't be interested in the Cirrus then, or anything else from Carenado. I know that whenever I have bought a duff add-on (and god knows I have bought many, especially in my early FS9 years) I have never bought from the same developer again. I can't think of any who have improved dramatically over the years after being terrible to start with so I don't even read threads about add-ons made by developers I wouldn't buy from. Seems like a waste of energy to me.
BTW, the SR22 looks good.
Sure does :(

There's something about the Carenado planes which renders them a keeper. Especially on the latest releases with a proper FDE. However, I hear the folks stating that some well known quirks are easy to be ruled out, though stay present.I I think I very much like my latest purchase, that JetProp, but don't ask me how much tweak and twiddle it took (thanks to all the Bs again!) to receive a plane with e. g. working clickspots in the VC. Now, after all mods are applied, it's a treat. So a current Cirrus 'speedy' would be very welcome of course and those first shots look really good. I'd really love to see how they do on the glass in the cockpit though. My favourite speed plane with the 'small' single engine is the Lancair so far.
