Carenado Doing Cirrus SR22 GTSx

Featured Replies

What happened to other thread about the cirrus ?
It started to go pear-shaped last time I looked and was then removed entirely. Best not to hypothesise I think or this one will go the same way!

Support issues should be addressed to Carenado support.I think that posting personal feelings toward Carenado support is counter productive and simply wrong! If you don't like the products, don't buy them. I really don't care how you feel. This thread is about a new plane in development, not about Carenado's inability to fix bugy airplanes. Straight%20Face.gifBTW, the SR22 looks good.
This forum is a place where I would think you would want this info readily available. Bugs. Customer service thoughts. Etc. With all due respect Jose, if you don't care how other customers of a product feel, don't read their post. Thanks!

Zach,I can't give an opinion unless I read the post. Silly. If I want Carenado to fix bugs, I think a better approach is to send Carenado an e-mail asking for the issues to be fixed. One can use many different approaches:1) Carenado if you don't fix the problems YOU have lost me as a customer!OR2) Carenado, thank you so much for making FSX so much better. I've seen your aircraft's evolve over the years and I'm so happy that you continue to develop and improve your fleet. However, I'm experienceing some issues.... Can you please help?I can assure you that if Carenado feels that they are loosing customers and that most are simply unhappy, they will make a change or fix what is broken. Complaining here, is not very constructive nor productive.

I understand completely your point, but remember that this forum is a very, very powerful tool. Developers listen to us here, so I can't see stamping out the voices of unhappiness on these forums. If the customer was belligerent, I could understand. But that wasn't the case here.Either way, I wasn't trying to be a smart alec. I just feel strongly that the forums should generally echo thoughts on products and developers. Let the would be customers seek out the reasonable opinions (they're easy to find). I know that's partially how I base my buy/no buy decisions!Back on topic! That Cirrus looks pretty so far!

I love Caranado's products. I own the PA46T and the 182RG and love them both. Dude you need to chill out. Guess I need to be careful what I say geesh.... I did say I had hoped my post was not taken as a hater post cuz it was not. NO reason to complain to Carando it's just the way they put out their planes. I actually hope someone from their company is in these forums to see feedback from customers like me.

I'm NOT your buddy on the basketball court. A little respect is in order. This is neither the time, place, thread, nor forum to discuss problems with Carenado airplanes. A more effective way is to contact Carenado. Will it sound more credible if a Moderator told you? Personal attacks are not necessary to explain how you feel. I hope that you stick around long enough to learn something of value. RESPECT

Wow... just... wow.You might want to take your own advice. I find your response very disrespectful towards individuals who simply haven't done what you claim. As a developer who hates it when someone 'targets' a developer in the AVSIM forums... I have to say... your reaction to these posts is way over the top and unfounded. You should show some respect and leave it alone. This thread is heading south... but not because someone brought up their opinion regarding Carenado addons they own.

Ed,Is this a joke? What is unfounded? All I'm saying is contact Carenado for product support. I'm not the one saying "chill out." I'm not the one named "whatever dude." This attitude is why some people simply choose not to participate anymore and be a visitor to these forums. Is that what you want?

I think it's fine for us to get excited about a new Carenado (i've got at least seven of their planes and will seriously consider the Cirrus, a plane I'd love to fly one day).I think it's also fine for other forum members to express their concerns/reservations about a particular product or manufacturer. All payware devs have good points and bad points. Talking about these in our community allows us to decide where to spend our payware dollars - and if the devs are bold enough to read the feedback it may ultimately result in a better end product, in which case everyone wins.Peace to all!

Which set of avionics is planned for her? Does anybody know? The C182 will get the G1000, but the Cirrus has black screens so far, so I couldn't tell if that's a G1000 too or if Avidyne comes in.

No, it's not a joke. No one in this thread requested product support. The "chill out" is because you singled someone out for speaking up and voicing their opinion regarding purchasing something from Carenado. They voiced displeasure regarding Carenado's decisions regarding fixing items. They didn't bash Carenado. If someone posted the same about Eaglesoft, I still would be unable to find fault with their post.As for user names... if theirs offends you, it's probably best you keep that to yourself... as their user name is actually not socially offensive.

Carenado doesn't need your defense, and as a matter of fact many would argue this is the time and place to give personal testimony to Carenado products. Relax, take a chill pill, and enjoy the discussions! There's no need to police the Carenado threads like a deranged ######! :unknw:And I do take offense to you saying "I'm NOT your buddy on the basketball court." This is a forum for different folks with a common interest to get together and discuss their hobby. Some would consider that friendship. aka "buddies" or "buds". In other words, we are like buds on the basketball court. So relax or "chill" as others put it.

It goes both ways, Jose! You do prove a point, after all. The MODS are the ones MODerating. Not you. You've essentially destroyed an otherwise decent thread by telling others not to share their opinions and to take it up "privately with support". Why would I privately give my opinion about a product?!Either way, I still consider you a friend! It's just irritating to watch this stuff go deeper.BTW. Anyone have any ideas how long it takes Carenado to release products after initial announcements/previews?

Does Eaglesoft plan to update their Cirrus by the way?
On the 'Coming Soon' page they have the CJ1+ V2.0 but I'm not sure if that is still active. In fact at the bottom of the website it says 'Copyright 2002' so I'm not sure if they are still active at all :( Maybe once this Cirrus is out they may revist theirs but, if they do it properly the Carenado version will sell well I would imagine so it may not be worth it if they have to start again.
