February 15, 201214 yr I have been flying around in Lionheart Creations version of the Quest Zodiak which is a high-powered single engine turbine aircraft.Acceleration for take-off is phenominal, which is only to be expected of such an aircraft due to the power-weight ratio, but it is almost impossible to control taxiing speed. A small nudge of the throttle pushes it up to 30 kts in an instant and when I brake back to, say, 20 kts the speed starts creeping back up again. It's a constant round of creep, brake, creep, brake ....Is this normal or is there a variable I can alter in the aircraft.cfg file? Many thanks for any advice.David
February 16, 201214 yr I had a similar issue/experience with a different plane a while ago. If you lean the mixture the engine loses some power thus reducing taxi speed. That worked for me, hope that helps,Kev

(though being a sim it might work,(though it shouldn't!))vololiberista Super VC10 into LOWI with PF3 at a cinema near you https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=298UDyNmgUA
February 16, 201214 yr With turbo props you can set the red condition to low idle which will lower the engine rpm for taxi. Just remember to set it back to full for take off.
February 16, 201214 yr With many TP's I have set the throttle at a low setting and use the prop pitch and or condition levers to adjust GS. Varies greatly from one type and FDE of oneTP to another. ArDee
