When I try to restart Flight, it asks me to sign in to Windows Marketplace. When I try to Create New Account, it tells me my email address is already a Windows Live ID. When I try to sign in with that ID, it rejects my password. When I try to reset the password, it tells me the ID is incorrect!I've searched online about this problem and see many others have encountered it, but I don't see a solution posted out there. Can anyone here help?

Sorry it worked for me! The thing is, it wasn't necessary to sign into Flight until you download the Stearman, after that you can't use Flight without signing in!!! The only thing I could suggest is an uninstall/reinstall.

Hm, I haven't downloaded anything, but it's still insisting I sign in. I could try reinstalling, but then I'd have to go through the intro "missions" again before doing free flight. I think I'll just put it aside for now, but thanks.

Nope, no Xbox and no Xbox account.This is a disappointingly basic usability failure, especially since others have been reporting this problem online for some time.

Try logging into the Games For Windows Marketplace program that hsould have been installed. If you can log into that, it is the same user name and password for Flight. It might have been options for resetting your password if you don't recall it.

As I mentioned, it's precisely Games for Windows Marketplace that Flight is already asking me to sign into.

I can sign into the market place without a problem and it is the only place I can see an icon to launch Flight. My problem is that once I'm in the game I can not login via the game so I cannot get the Stearman. Does anyone know if there are some firewall settings that have to be done?

There should be a Desktop Icon to launch Flight. If you don't have one, the Start/choose-program-to-run method will work.You could also find the flight.exe file in Windows Explorer, select it with a right-click, and SendTo Desktop as Shortcut.Double-clicking on the new Desktop Shortcut Icon will launch Flight.

Thanks. I had to make a shortcut from the install folder. Now if I can just get my login to Windows Games Live to work I'll be happier.
