One thing that is kind of refreshing

Ok so I know have about an hour or so under my belt with flight. Got the graphics on highest setting, adjusted my Cougars null zone in the xml file to my liking, and am honestly having some good fun with it.Now understand, I love my FSX and will keep continuing to get many hours of enjoyment out of it, and undoubtedly more addons to come for it.But I also am really enjoying, well just the simplicity of flight. I can leave a couple of internet explorer windows open, couple of programs running, and just launch Flight. I don't worry about shutting all down that I can, loading up weather for my particular flight plan, etc etc.I can just launch flight from wherever I am on my desktop, and there it is for me, with great performance. Fly a quick mission or two, having fun doing so, then back to where I left off on my desktop. Now tomorrow morning I am sure, as I always do on Saturday mornings, I will load up a flight plan in FSX for my default 737, load up my REX weather, and spend an hour or two in a very enjoyable flight, and get that great sense of accomplishment I always do, when I successfully take off, navigate, and land at designated airports. But probably a little later on in the day, I will glance over and see my Flight icon, and go what the heck , a quick double click and off I go...I haven't even purchased the Hawaii expansion yet, though I am sure I will before the weekend is over. Flight is about the most fun, I have had for free, in quite a long time. Silly as it may seem, I had a blast replaying the 25 coin first challenge over and over, in the Icon, until I accomplished it. And I am really pleased with what I see in the graphics department, and the fact I can run it at high settings. So now I have my FSX for my harder core flights, and Flight for some fun whether it be missions or sight seeing. Not a bad deal for this flight simmer.

Like you I have room for both Flight and FSX in my world. I've been doing regular Sunday FSX flights with a group of guys for years now. We take turns setting up flight plans and weather each month. I don't see that changing. We're even talking about setting another day for weekly flying with Flight. It's sad some out there feel it has to be one or the other FSX or Flight. They're both great in their own way!

Getting those 25 coins in time is a LOT harder then you would think. It also takes some good piloting to keep the aircraft in the air during all those harsh manuvers!!! Its a good test of skill, even if it is a little childish. When did fun become a bad thing for pilots?
