March 4, 201214 yr I like to play with ATC guiding me, i think it makes the game more real. PMDG is so real when the subject is fuel, im tryin to make a long journey with the 737-800 (4000 nm to be more specific) and as everybody know, the 737 can't cary the amount of fuel necessary to make the trip directly.is it possible to make a refueling stop with atc guiding me and after the refuel I take off again and go to my destination (with the atc giving instructions all time)? Manin G.
March 4, 201214 yr To my knowledge, you can definitely (as you get near the airport) open the ATC window then click on nearest airports and find the one you wish to land on, ask for clearance, and setup the approach to that airport.I just land anyway! :PBut once you land, I think all you do is open the FMC and fill up the fuel tanks. i7-6700K @ 4.5 GHz, 16 GB DDR4-2400 MHz, GTX 1070 8GB
March 4, 201214 yr I think you should devide your flightplan in two parts. One part to the refueling stop and the next part to your destination. Let ATC guide you with both plans. Martin Pampiermole
March 4, 201214 yr This kind of flying is normally planned as two separate flights in real flying. --Peter Fabian
March 4, 201214 yr Hey,i will be doing the crossing pond this month at vatsim, and this subject is about it, i want to do this trip from KJFK to LOWW but i need to do a stop if i want to do all the journey with the 737. Daniel choen
March 4, 201214 yr You should be able to do KJFK to British Isles with an empty NG. File for Shannon or Dublin, land there, refuel, and file another plan to Vienna.Unless PMDG go bonkers and give us the BBJ before cross the pond event, that is the best you can do. --Peter Fabian

March 4, 201214 yr BBJ-1 can about do JFK-DXB (this way), BBJ-2 will go as far as Iraq. --Peter Fabian
March 4, 201214 yr Wow, i hope to see those one out soon, BTW are you going to do this event to? Daniel choen

Manin G.
March 4, 201214 yr The best thing you could do is divide the flight in two legs, plan them in advance in FSX, fly the first one, and, while landed at the refueling stop, load the second flightplan from the menu (File--->Flight planning...) Fabrizio Sassi
March 4, 201214 yr Wow, i hope to see those one out soon, BTW are you going to do this event to?No, I am an IVAO guy, and even then, I am not the type for longhaul... My type of flight is one up to 1000nm. --Peter Fabian
