March 9, 201214 yr Moderator I actually managed to fly the Stearman without a cockpit, but don't know how I did that :DIt's actually quite easy to use the keyboard (or the mouse) to shift your eyepoint up/down, fore/aft, so it's entirely possible to put your eyepoint just ahead of the prop in any of the aircraft... :Party: Fr. March 9, 201214 yr actually managed to fly the Stearman without a cockpit, but don't know how I did that :DI understant that you get the Stearman for free when you log in to LIVE the first time.Could it be that you had not signed in to Live, and thus had a Basic Stearman?(I can't reproduce as the first thing I did was sign in to LIVE) Ramón. Time, is the one thing no one can buy.

I use the Xbox controller, so if I just kept pressing Y, I could normally chose any of the regular views, but the one with no cockpit was available too, just before the normal cockpit one. But this just happened sometimes. I suspected that this view was only availabe on Stearman Landing Strip challenges, where the strip can be quite hard to see. In the Stearman Landing Challenge 3 this view was selectable for me, maybe you can try it out to confirm if that is the case
March 9, 201214 yr Gustavo, thanks for the tip.I will try it, and if available I will use to do some of those Maule challanges as well. Ramón. Time, is the one thing no one can buy.
March 9, 201214 yr I noticed that I could switch to a no-cockpit view in the Stearman, but only during the landing challenges. Surprised me, as I was expecting a top down view when I pressed the button.Hook Larry Hookins Oh! I have slipped the surly bonds of EarthAnd danced the skies on laughter-silvered wings;
