It is nearly the same size, but it has all of the bells and whistles of the higher end cases.I used to own the Antec 300 and now I am running my setup in the 400R and I love it!

I would recommend buying some decent stuff anyway...even if you are happy with the default paste, if for whatever reason you take a few attempts to get everything lined up and your cooler installed, you will want some spare!I have always found Arctic Silver 5 to be just fine. March 19, 201214 yr The CPUs come with a thin layer of pre-applied thermal greaseMy Intel i5-2500K did not have any thermal paste applied to it but the cooling fan included with the CPU did have a pre-applied patch of some thermal compound on it that transferred to the CPU when the fan was mated to it and the motherboard. You would also get some thermal past provided with most aftermarket coolers.I have read that the Arctic Silver 5 is the best around at this stage. Illigitimi non-carbrundum
