FMC (INTC) in the LEGS page

Featured Replies

Good afternoon Gents,I know how to put a wyapoint with an intercept angle in the LSK1 of the LEGS page, but not somewhere else (as shown in the llz approach in tutorial #2)RTTNB(INTC)OEV21Anyone here that can help me out please?Best Regards,Bert Van Bulck

That's a part of the procedure. Suspect it could be a ARINC 424 CI leg type, course to intercept. You can't program that in manually. The (INTC) points are commonly found in departure or arrival procedures. There is no way to create them on the fly. Same with 'climb to xxx altitude then turn ...' and similar procedures. The only custom waypoints allowed are the ordinary PBD, PD/PD, along-track, manual coordinate entry etc. as described in the FCOM and tutorials.sig.gif

Correct - that's a conditional or "psuedo" waypoint. In that particular case it's fly a track of 210 until intercepting the localizer course. These cannot be entered or modified by the pilot, they're coded into the procedure. If you look at the coding in the LOWI.txt file in FSXPMDGSIDSTARS you can see it:TRANSITION RTT FIX RTTNB AT OR ABOVE 9500 TRK 210 INTERCEPT RADIAL 254 TO FIX OEV21

You're welcome.Since I'm tinkering around with the LOC/DME WEST IAP at the moment - is there any known documentation on the nav DB syntax? Sure much of it can be figured out just by reading, but I thought I'd ask anyways.sig.gif
