March 18, 201214 yr So I got FSX recently and am trying to figure out what to do next. With this flight sim being how old it is there is so much info out there, but the problem is so much that I read is from years ago.So could you give me a quick rundown on what addons are still used today. What will make FSX as realistic looking as possible. Any addons that make using FSX easier, or user friendly? How about tips/addons I should get to make planes perform more realistically. And before I get to involved with this sim, would any of you recommend I switch to XP10?
March 18, 201214 yr DX10 is usually a no-go, because anything not FSX native looks buggy in it...try looking through this topic:http://forum.avsim.n...hance-the-game/It covers everything that makes FSX as pretty as possible.

March 19, 201214 yr I think REX is one of the big things that you need to get for FSX. It enhances everywhere you fly, after all it is an environment enhancement addon. Happy Flying, Clem Wu Beta Tester for OZx, Iris Simulations and Shade.
