IMHO The aircraft most in need of a payware rendition (Not counting projects in development) would be the A330/A340, followed by the CRJs, Beech 1900s and the 717.The projects that will make the most commercial sense for PMDG however would be either a 747-400X upgrade, a B1900 for FSX, or a 737 Classic based on the NGX.
Aerosoft/ Digital Aviation is doing the CRJs (not 200) as well as Wilco who is releasing an updated CRJ at the end of the month. I'm still sticking with the 717 as the next secret project, it makes the most sense since these "secrrete projects" are just side projects to give developers not working on something a project to work on.
There I fixed it:222222222.png
How about we let PMDG update the page ;)

As great as the 787 is, I think it needs more line time and solidification in the field before a realistic simulation can be produced. I'm sure Boeing is still ironing out some wrinkles on the real 787. Just my thoughts.Besides, they have their work cut out for them with the T7, Dash 8 and the DC6. We have a good year or two to absorb these great offerings! Until then, my butt is glued to the NGX!! 198hrs and counting.

PMDG j41, 747-400x, 747-8i/f, NGX.......Finally!!!!

But no, the 787 has only been out for a few years, there probably not yet enough info for PMDG to make one.
I don't know why you would say a thing like that. Abacus has had one for sale ever since it was on Boeing's drawing table. :(

Sorry forgot about the DA CRJ, and I was a bit hesitant to call the Wilco CRJ a real 'payware' because their product quality had gone off a cliff. It's very sad to see the company who produced the original 767 PIC end up in such a sorry state.

I'm thinking of that too, although it would be a lot of work as the 717 is so different from the MD-11. The Beech 1900 would be my guess simply because the 'gauges' would be so much simpler. Why is it so simple? Because most B1900s produced doesn't have an autopilot. (It's 100% hand flown)

How similar is the 767 to the 777 etc?
The 777 is pretty much as Auto as you can get where Boeing is concerned. The 767 is a lot older and uses primarily non glass instruments. The 777 is in fact very high tech, has a range of things! The 767-300 might look like a shrunken out 777-200 but there are so many differences.

I hope this is not true. Since QW is doing a 787, it would be the best that all simulator developers does something, what doesnt excsist :). Like A320!Lauri
Come on now Lauri, you are hoping they are not making a 787 because there is one in development by a... lets say questionable... company, yet you would like them to make them an A320 that is in development by no less than 3 companies, one of them even with ties to PMDG and very highly regarded for their previous add-on?

The reason why A320 is that its my favourite plane and Id like to have a really good one of. I didnt know that FSLabs had ties on PMDG.I said not 787 because QW is doing pretty good one of it. Of course PMDG would do better, but let me see. PMDG has, IMO too much long haul aircrafts. There is already coming one long haul(777), so the most I'd hope from PMDG is 717.

Despite anything that pmdg team may say, until then, i still belive in a 747 or 787 for the secret project 2 ou any other given name project.

Completely untrue.

Well, the 767-400s have a pretty similar cockpit layout compared to 777s. Are the systems similar as well or is it just the cockpit?

[

Highly doubt both of them... especially the 757! Keep your eyes on the Level-D 757 though.
I WAS keeping my eyes on it, from 2005 to 2010. After that my eyes got tired.
