March 25, 201214 yr Try G2xpl(Free or possible a small donation) and download scenery for Oregon yourself, it take a bit of work, and time, and disk-space, but it's totally worth it.Unfortunately for Photoscenery to be within a reasonable file-size for sale and download it may be a little lower in quality than what you could get yourself via G2XPL.I am doing it for Florida and the results are very good.Plane-wise, I love the Carenado Bonanza(I have the straight tail), Goran's offering are also good, as is the Sequioa Falco, I don't know about the CRJ personally but people rave about it.If you are a newbie to flight-sim in general, this probably seems like alot of work(and to be fair it is), If you are trying XPX after FSX then really you are just trading time tweaking the sim( and reloading after a CTD) for time making the scenery look passable. Also(As you stated), Xplane looks great in the wilderness, with mountains, trees and rivers. If you live in Oregon, get some of thishttp://www.alpilotx....d-scenery-mesh/the new mesh will make the scenery look even better.Have fun...
