You can pick it from PC Aviator for 50% off right now until April 2nd, 2012.http://www.pcaviator.com/store/product.php?productid=18957I've been thinking of picking it up, since I enjoy the CRJs, and it's a steal at that price.

+1. But I don't fly at night due to the bad night lighting from feelthere. I have yet to figure out how a silver grey instrument panel by day changes to zinc chromate green when you switch the cockpit lights on at night.

Rig: Gigabyte B550 AORUS Master Motherboard, AMD Ryzen 7 3800XT CPU, 32GB DDR4 Ram, Gigabyte RTX 2070 Super Graphics,  Samsung Odyssey  wide view display (5120 x 1440 pixels) with VSYNC on.

Used to fly the ATR-72 ..theres a fix to make it work in FSX but it was buggy for me and never tried it again :(

The PMDGJ41 does have a fully simulaed FMC
Excepts for holds because it is a "light" simulation.

Thanks for the great info all.I think the Carenado King Air is just about what I'm looking for. I'd go with the PMDG (cause they rock), but that airplane just doesn't grab my interest. -G

I haven't flown it at night yet. I would think the VC light color could be changed.

That's where I got it!

Just love those regionals, cause they allow me to fly any day of the week, on shorter routes. Also, feelthere jets have IMO the right complexity for an occasional flyer. Where with the PMDG you need atleast half an hour to setup, check and print charts, maybe pause here and there to check the manual for a procedure you don't fully remember, etc...you can pick the E-Jets anytime, also thanks to the included Call! package, which helps you out with the flows. For 20$ is a must have! :)

Saying JS41 is 'lite' or does not have FMC is an 'overshoot'. FMC has all the features besides AFIS and hold capability (plus some minor GPS and other nav stats pages, not used in FSX). You can study the actual real life unit manual and found 80% of data useful in simulation. It is extremly noisy and, as a standard for PMDG, does not have Wx radar, but many folks integrates Wx500 from other devs. You already have the cfg file prepared for this.I warn You, it is an addictive plane!

If I recall correctly, PMDG stated it is a "lite" version because it uses trim to control pitch under autopilot and they did not put the hold capability in. That is the reason stated by PMDG for not putting the hold capability in the JS4100. Still, their version of "lite" is incredibly detailed. It is not meant as a disparaging remark.

If you don't mind 2d only cockpits then the best regional jet right now I think is the DA/Flight1 Fokker 70/100. Just don't ever expect it to have a 3d cockpit. This product is deep in systems, a dream to hand fly and looks great. It's just really too bad no 3d cockpit.Eric

I really miss flying the PSS Dash 8. I held on to FS9 till just two years ago so I could fly it. It did have its issues, but I just love the Dash 8 (and they are everywhere in the real world where I live). Really looking forward to Magestic finishing their Q400.I've done some flights in the ERJ v.2 and am enjoying that. I still miss a good turboprop though. I'd get the JS41 but no real world airlines around here fly it and I just really want a nice Dash 8 again.

I had the same feeling in the beginning, but it does grab you in the end - at leats that's what happened to with me. I hardly fly it these days because of the NGX and Airbus X (ammore of a jetliner type of guy), but I should dive into it again. Flying it around OrbX Australia has already been on my to-do list for quite a while now.
