April 7, 201214 yr I like the more oddball 'rare' aircraft. I doubt these will get made to PMDG standards in this lifetime. April 8, 201214 yr I'm pretty excited for the 777. Currently have PMDG MD11 and 737NGX and JS4100. Also have Realair BE60T Turbine (royal) Duke with the RealityXP GPS GNX530WAAS with crossfill and TCASD and a fairly recent AIRAC with GNSS Approaches to obscure fields. Have almost all the Orbx Australian fields, lots of international airports like FSDT KORD, KJFK, KLAX, KDFW, UK2000 EGLL, EGCC, other airports such as KBOS, LOWW, EDDH, EDDS, EHAM, ESSA, in payware, and a few freeware addons like OZX's Italian sceneries (And of course Australian sceneries). In an ideal world I would like to see the following additions to my sim (assuming I don't need to wish for projects that are confirmed like PMDG 777 and 747v2). -------- Aircraft -------- Dash-8. Be it a Q300 or Q400. Both would be preferable. Kingair with the RealityXP GPS fully integrated into the VC, Realair style. A330, I like the FBW, and the range. A320, I like the FBW and the ability to land at smaller airfields. A380, I'm an australian, Qantas has these, They ramp them up for prestige. B717, Qantaslink fly these to some interesting locations like Ayres Rock/Uluru. Something Russian with jet engines and "Russian Style" Navigation systems (and maybe augmented by western instrumentation like GPS systems and TCAS to be ICAO compliant), be it an IL96, IL72, Tu154M, YAK42 - Project Tupolev with the addon KLN90B GPS was brilliant in FS9. EMB120 with a GPS on it, maybe the RealityXP GNS430. Metro Merlin IV or III, GNS430 GPS as an option. A Piper Warrior, newish one with G1000 or GNS stuff in it. Update or new MD80 (81/82/83/88) with proper dual FMS, and selectable options like NGX has (even to the point of having MD82's with the different style of FMS, Analog HSI/ATT selectable etc), retaining the Multiplayer of MadDog. ATR72 for FSX to PMDG Dash-8 standard. ------- Scenery ------- Sydney YSSY - With the proper Road tunnel with the runway and 2 taxiways going over the road. Jetbridges that move like with Orbx YMML/YBBN and FSDT. Sydney - The city, harbour bridge and opera house, North Shore, Chatswood, etc redone to match YSSY addon. Sydney Bankstown YSBK - General Aviation airport, one of the buisiest in Australia. (Camden is covered by the current OZx Freeware. Wollongong already done by Orbx.) Did I mention I'd like to see some payware quality airports around Sydney? yea... Perth YPPH Auckland NZAA Wellington NZWN Adelaide YPAD Novosibirsk UNNT (whole new runway, taxiways, apron and terminal was built since FSX, with the existing FSX Runway and apron and taxiways generally unused now). Copenhagen up to FSDT Standard. Rome LIRF - anything that's not default, or for FS9. ----- Crazy Dreams that will never happen. ----- FMS integration for an ACARS system (either Hoppies ACARs, an inbuilt one, or one integrated with Vatsim and the like). Weather Radar based on Real World Weather feeds. (lol even I can't believe that one) Tail Cam in A380 and 777. (Fingers crossed for PMDG to turn a Crazy Dream into something thats real) EFB in the 777's VC with actual charts in it? April 8, 201214 yr The only other Add on I'd like to see is an FSX Dubai Scenery to fly the 777 out of when flying under the Emirates Callsign! Aerosoft would make a good one, don't believe anyone is though? What about you? I'm with you on that one.... I would really love to see a DXB payware on FSX. It is such an amazing and unique airport and I was quite surprised when I couldn't find even one FSX scenery, payware or freeware, that attempted a remotely accurate rendition of that airport. Just as I was saddened to see how aircraft developers ignored the beautiful 777. Thanks to PMDG that has changed. We can now hope that major scenery addon makers would finally see the market value in a dubai Payware product. Nanjul J. Dakat
April 8, 201214 yr An ORBX scenery for Italy.. we don't have anything photorealistic here!!! Have you seen/tried the OZx Liguria (Genova) freeware scenery? http://aussiex.org/f...ia-photoreal-x/ Trent Hopkinson Trent Hopkinson, 2015 Crewmember of www.mangrove.com.au WorldFlight sim Youtube channel www.youtube.com/user/musicalaviator
April 8, 201214 yr Id like PMDG to do the A380 , 787,767,717 and A320. A PMDG Bizjet would be great. and ORBX to do scenery for all of the UK. Jason Richards
April 9, 201214 yr Have you seen/tried the OZx Liguria (Genova) freeware scenery? http://aussiex.org/f...ia-photoreal-x/ Trent Hopkinson Yes, i have it. But what i meant were not just airport sceneries, but big area scenery, like New Zealand, Central Rocky Mountains and so. There is the SIRX project but there are no news since may 2011
May 2, 201214 yr I would like PMDG to have a GA Aircraft division!!! This market is very big and I think there missing out on a lot! This would be my wish for 2012, I wish they surprised me with a release along the way! David DD David
May 2, 201214 yr Tail Cam in A380 and 777. (Fingers crossed for PMDG to turn a Crazy Dream into something thats real) Do you mean the actual camera itself? Because if you want the entire screen to be the tail cam, that is very possible with an "aircraft" view. Thanks, Kevin L
May 5, 201214 yr Yes, i have it. But what i meant were not just airport sceneries, but big area scenery, like New Zealand, Central Rocky Mountains and so. There is the SIRX project but there are no news since may 2011 the OZx Liguria etc sceneries have areas too (all the hills, city, town of Genova). OK I think I get what you mean though, and I too would like an entire Italy with good scenery (Venice, Rome, Milan, Naples to name a few areas) with the whole countryside between them done. It'd be great to have a NL2000 style project for as much of Europe as possible. It would make flying those areas much nicer. May 5, 201214 yr Author ORBX to do scenery for all of the UK. Really? As good as they are I really like UK2000, my top favourite scenery and one I use 95% of the time is EGLL V2. I believe once Heathrow East is complete and the guy at UK2000 has the up to date information there will be a V3 in development. Probably next Year! The only other add-on I want for FSX apart from the 777 is Dubai... 55% of my Flights will be with Emirates to the fact I have to use dull scenery is not good! - Luke Pabari
May 5, 201214 yr the viking air twin otter-400 with 4 blade pt6-35 engines and a correct autopilot that has a interface with the glass cockpit another aircraft that i would love to see done by PMDG is the Grumman g21g turbine goose manufactured by Antilles air boats the third aircraft is the classic Douglas commercial dc3 pre WW2 aircraft no autopilot. then the biser turbo3 with new avonics and autopilot. #4 the gippsaero ga18 nomad n24.last but not least is the Cessna 207a station air 8 witch is the 7passenger 8seat 207.
May 6, 201214 yr A320/A330/A380 Project Tupolev ported over to FSX DC-10 And I would faint if someone did a PMDG quality of the glass Su-35 fighter. Alex Jevdic --- KORD A<380-----Love at first flight
