Did pmdg forget to model the thrust reversers in the play back of fsx.

You will need FS Recorder to see the advanced animations during playback. It's much better than the default recorder. Here is the link:

It's an existing limitation in fsx when you use sophisticated animations like that & happens with many addons. As previously mentioned you'll need something like fsrecorder to do it properly.

Whe you start your simulator go to your upper menu (ALT Key) and select FsRecorder configuration. In the configuration menu of FsRecorded uncheck Views and the next time your start the simulator they should be gone.
