FOUGA CM170 MAGISTER is eating my ground textures!!

Featured Replies

Aaaaaargh!I was just enjoying flying the new Fouga Magister when I noticed that when changing views from 2D or 3D cockpit to SPOT view, I would sometimes lose all my ground textures.I have some 180 aircraft in my hanger and I couldn't believe it at first so I tried other aircraft.....no problem.Suspected the panel so I changed it to an alias of the Lear45. The problem remained.Has anyone else experienced this problem with the Fouga?Such a pity as it is a superb freeware add-on.

Anyone?

Hello JohnI have the original Finnish Fouga; haven't noticed this, but I'll download the German Fouga and see what happens and let you know. It is a wonderful plane, in all respects.Nuno

Thanks Nuno.It doesn't do it every time you switch views, but only sometimes.Changing from the 2D panel to VC and then to SPOT.Look forward to your findings.Cheers,

John

I noticed this in FS2002 with the Valuprop Beech Baron. After cycling through the views once the sun would vanish and it was like flying through the shadow of an eclipse. I could see the sun shine on the horizon, but my aircraft was in a perpetual shadow.I never figured out what was happening although I believe it was linked to the panel, which was modified from the default Baron panel.I had no trouble with the Fouga in FS2002 although I haven't tried it in FS9. (Great plane, though)BlairCYOW

John,I haven't forgotten about this iisue, but I have been very busy. This weekend I'll try to look into this.Nuno
