Milviz CH-47 Chinook is out!

Featured Replies

Thanks Chock - I think I will do the same before reaching for my wallet!

Might try the DodoSim JetRanger in the meantime if it is that good!

There is simply nothing like the Dodo in FSX. It's amazing. I'm a RL pilot, but not choppers. I was taught to fly the Dodo, though, by a RL chopper pilot in MP, and he kept remarking how much like the real thing the Dodo is. It's a blast to fly. You can set the difficulty on any of 5 levels, but I recommend jumping into level 5 and learning it correctly from the start. Makes it hard for me to fly any other choppers in FSX, although I enjoy the Aerosoft Huey as well.

I'm also interested in this Chinook. Such an iconic chopper, and the textures are incredible, particularly the VC, but the fact that Nemeth did the code makes me hesitate. So, I'll be looking for reviews before buying as well.

The MV/ND Service pack is now out.

This fixes all the posted bugs in systems and avionics and does some minor model fixes.

We have also included a lower rez version for those who have FPS issues at 8x aa.

WOW!

This thing is amazing, but like many I'm not into choppers... I'm waiting on that magnificent Kingair 350.. and if the detail in this bird is any indication whats to come that Kingair will be simply amazing!

Which brings up a point I've wondered about.

When asked about corporate aviation, bizjets etc... most developers (NOT Milviz) say there isn't enough market demand for them to develop one.

So my question is how much market demand is there for such a chopper when the AVSIM Survey currently underway has choppers dead last?

http://forum.avsim.n...graphic-survey/

Out of almost 500 people taking the survey only one said they fly choppers regularly.

Would you guys ever considered doing a nice bizjet?

Say a Falcon 50/900 or Challenger, they use them in military service too...

First off, choppers are hot. Hotter, in fact than any of our other products. We will keep on building them as long as that's happening. Sales speak much louder than survey's sorry to say. We will, needless to say, strive for better systems and avionics on our new, upcoming choppers. These will be done for Pr3D due to it's much better physical modeling of rotor craft. (they will also be for FSX but won't fly as nice...).

We will be making sure that all of our newer products run and look great. That said, better starting thinking about buying more ram and a faster CPU boys and girls.. All glass pits are notorious frame hogs.

We are considering all options and are open to suggestions. We do have some secret projects in line and, though I will not say what they are exactly, one of them might be a biz jet.. Maybe, possibly, potentially... who knows... we'll see... patience... 2012 is not over yet. Nail%20Biting.gif

Finally, we don't just do military stuff... (someone suggested Civiz or something to that effect)

You know, just a thought but that Collins Pro Line 21 you guys are developing for the Kingair 350i will fit nicely into many bizjets!

Like the Falcon 50EX, or a Lear 60 XR...

We are not doing a Falcon or a Challenger. In fact, I will not say that we are, in fact, doing a bizjet of any kind... (not yet anyway)

You bunch keep putting words in my mouth...
