April 20, 201214 yr Running SB4 on FSX without any issues. Both networks have their advantages, but I prefer VATSIM because there is more traffic & ATC in the areas that I like to fly. I also prefer VATSIM, because they are very supportive of virtual airlines. IVAO is a completely different story, but I will leave it at that. VATSIM: P2 | I1
April 20, 201214 yr I told myself "don't reply, don't post, don't add my 2 cents" but after reading comments to "buy a cheap 2nd computer" so that I can run FSX/SB4 together just makes me cringe....really?!? I have to go buy a 2nd computer, then buy a license for FSINN....man, this makes me want to join IVAO and start controller training so I can man some US airspace....and, to Word Not Allowed...your running a machine that can run NASA lol, of course you don't have issues ;-) Regards, Ken
April 20, 201214 yr Ken, come on. You are totally overreacting. It's a known fact that many many users run a 2nd computer for those things, including map and everything else. I didn't mean for SB4. Rather pointing out the advantage. NASA? Quite no... a machine that many users here own. Only a bit high classy is GTX580. But also many do have it too.
April 20, 201214 yr Maybe I should have been more clear. I run SB4 and FSX on the same computer... For fun my friend gave me his old beater PC to run charts off of. I wanted to put SB4 on it but it won't work without a mic on the other PC... so I will try FSInn. A second PC is NOT required at all. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
April 20, 201214 yr , then buy a license for FSINN.... Ken Just to be clear - besides all what was said- you don't need to buy a license for FSINN. Jeroen Rutgers-Herenius van Slochteren British Airways VA Onwards and upwards
