April 28, 201214 yr Hi Guys, can someone help ? I've tried suggestions of disabling weather from vatsim, to no avail. This is beyong fustration, I am only flying solo now...I cannot go onto vatsim. Is there a permanent fix for this. Can someone share it ? the airplance becomes unflyable...I am lost. I need your help Level-D 767/ FSINN / VATSIM /ASE = High temprerature Thanks, Regis i7 2600k, 580 gtx @ 1.5G, 8G RAM - REX, ASE, GEX, FEX, ORBX, LEVEL-D, NGX 737 Regis Biassala
April 28, 201214 yr There's a bug when the weather comes in via FSINN, above a certain FL. But if you disable the FSINN weather feed (no green cloud symbols showing) and use ASE with the VATSIM download option, it should work. Do you mean this by stating I've tried suggestions of disabling weather from vatsim, to no avail.? Really make sure FSINN doesn't feed anything more than the multiplayer stuff. So no two weather programs feed FSX. If it still ruins the high FL temps, maybe run some test with the default weather engine or some freeware to rule out that your current weather soft is to blame.
April 29, 201214 yr Author Using vatsim with default FSX weather engine....It is not the same without REX or ASE...######, I am ! Regis Biassala
April 29, 201214 yr Don't worry, it just acts as a test. If the default weather engine works without too high temps, the problem may arise at the addon weather programs you were using before. Means their setup or installation. Maybe best to contact their support.
April 29, 201214 yr I've tried suggestions of disabling weather from vatsim, to no avail. This is beyong fustration, I am only flying solo now...I cannot go onto vatsim. Using FSINN, simply click the CAVOK button until the weather clears. Jay
April 29, 201214 yr Using FSINN, simply click the CAVOK button until the weather clears. Alternatively you can disable all VATSIM weather in the FSInn settings. Shane Gavin
April 29, 201214 yr Alternatively you can disable all VATSIM weather in the FSInn settings. Yeah, totally disabling it is a far better option. Sometimes when you click the CAVOK button the weather doesnt get properly disabled, and you will end up with the temperature bug. Johan Pettersen
April 30, 201214 yr Author Yes, disabling Vatsim weather seems to work....I am flying live now...EDzok is brilliant. Regis Biassala
