Variable prop with performance similar to a DA40?

Can anyone recommend a constant speed, non-retractable with performance similar to a Diamond DA40?

 

Note - most important is flight model. I'll be making my own panel. Visual model not important either.

Does the Baytower do the trick? Fixed gear, single engine, nice FDE. I think 160HP or so.

Way too fast I think - I'm looking for a standard cruise of around 135kts. Nice looking plane, though.

I was thinking about some Carenado first, maybe the Bonanza. That's an inexpensive plane and it has received a free FDE update done by Bernt Stolle. However, it doesn't have a fixed gear. The older Carenados have models with that gear arrangement, but don't offer that FDE tuning.

The FDE is tops. Feels really good to me coming from a 152/172.

 

Much better than the Carenado type stuff. (before Bernt Stolle got involved)

 

I personally am having an issue with some non-functioning clickspots but I fully expect to get that resolved.

 

Other than that, I love it so far. Especially for 23 bucks!
