Dear Pilots,

VATSIM Gemany invites you to Frankfurt RealOPS 2012. Experience realworld air-traffic for 5 hours.

Frankfurt airport is one of the important aviation hubs of the world. With more than 56 million passengers last year this airport is not only Germany's busiest airport,

it is also the third busiest one in Europe - measured by the volume of cargo even the number 1 in Europe.

RealOPS is a special event in which realworld air-traffic from a specified period is simulated. Let us test the new runway configuration on VATSIM which can achieve over 120 air-traffic movements per hour.

It is the first time we do it in this event series since the opening of the north-western runway.

On Saturday, 12th May 2012 we offer you more than 400 bookalbe flights and at least five hours of air-traffic control in the heart of Europe.

Visit our website for bookings und further important information about this event.

You guys do know that there is a VATSIM calendar for your use here, right? See here: http://forum.avsim.net/calendar/. Click on the "Community" drop down and select VATSIM's calendar to announce your events. Then, within a week or so of the event, they will show up on the forum index page and that of the AVSIM main page side bar.

No, Tom, we did not.

No we know. Thanks :)

I went ahead and posted it for you. Check the front page. I suggest you also post your event for tomorrow night too.

Ah, ok.

I posted it either.

Tom, may I ask you to delete this topic here in order to keep a proper overview of the forum? Thanks in advance!

For further events we will use the event calender.

We'll leave it. It is a proper to place these too. But feel free to only use the calendar if that is what you wish in the future. Also, please encourage the other VATSIM orgs to take advantage of this calendar too.
