Never had this problem before

Recommended Posts

Good Morning,

Went to fly my NGX this morning and was prompted for my activation code. I've had the NGX since August and was prompted for activation. When I enter the code it gives me an error. This is also the case with the 600/700 as well. I submitted a trouble ticket but do not know how long it will take. Anyone have this problem before? I've made no hardware changes; everything was fine 2 days ago. I really want to get back in my NGX.

Flexnet service is probably not running.

Have you been using a performance boosting program or been killing excess processes in the task manager? Either of those could stop flexnet from running.

Drat, you beat me to it, Ken. That's the first thought that popped into my head.

Also make sure your BIOS and operating system clock is right as well if the above is right.

Yeah, I know system time can interfere with activation, but I'm not sure if it affects the product after it's been activated.

I will check flexnet in my task manager and see if it is running. Very strange that it would stop. Thanks for the help.
