Uninitiated Simulation Pause

Not certain why this is happening but hope someone might be able assist.

When I am flying a medium to long haul flight, my simulator goes on pause. The screen is still on but just a pause??

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

At which stage of the flight does this happen? And what aircraft are you using?

Im flying the PMDG MD 11but DO NOT have Pause at Top of Decent checked.

of the top of my head Air Hauler and Radar Contact also have the ability to pause the sim if your using any of those on your flights.

Are you alt-tabbing out of the sim, by any chance? Checking out the map? Make sure "pause on task switch" is turned off.

Yes. All tabs are turned off. cant figure this out?? Could it be a computer issue other than FS?

Does it resume after a short pause? If so, how long is the pause? Or, does the screen say paused?

And you're positive that "Pause on task switch" is NOT checked?

DUUH! Yes, Pause on task switch was checked.
