I didn't get that error.

what type of action from the menu bar you tried doing?

I tried number of actions and they all worked fine.

like increasing Traffic, restart traffic, Stop/Start Traffic... all those worked fine for me.

OK, Finlay I got the time to Install my complete set of VoxATC into Prepar3D.

the following were installed / tested:

1. VoxATC

2. VoxPOP Server/Voices

3. IVONA2 Voices

4. UT2 AI Traffic injection by VoxATC (UT2 native engine Disabled)

5. IFR Flight (NGX) from Gate - to - Gate (LLBG-->OJAI)

6. Tested VoxATC w/FO

7. Tested VoxATC w/o FO

Installation of VoxATC v6.06 + VoxPOP Server/Voice Packs went smoothly (thanks to the "FSX to Prepar3D Migration Tool").

I loaded at the gate at LLBG (D4). loaded a flight plan which I had ages ago (same FP i used once with VoxATC in FSX).

since P3D loads directly into a flight and not to the main menu, one must load the FP while on the tarmac then save the flight (menu -> save), only then you press "Enable" VoxATC.

All my UT2 Traffic were injected correctly by VoxATC.

AI / AI voices communicated correctly with the VoxATC controller and vise versa, and following VoxATC controller's directions.

VoxATC read all the AIRAC installed and assigned me with SID/STAR and RW.

VoxATC 1st Officer worked fine and communicated correctly with VoxATC, so did the voice recognition; me the pilot communicating with ATC (w/o 1st Officer).

I got clearance, PB/Engine Start, taxi, takeoff, etc. from VoxATC Controller.

I was handed correctly to all the controllers (Ground, Tower, Departure/Approach, Control)

Landed at OJAI once got cleared by Tower. and taxi to the gate once got cleared by ground.

the Guidance lights were fired as expected for both taxi from the gate and to the gate and I completed the flight without an issue.

overall based on that single flight I did, it seems VoxATC works fine with P3D.

Where/How do you get this migration tool? I'm also looking to get PP3D?

Thanks!

.. tnx, Akila, for the detailed report, it helps a lot

well , that is not totally correct as I found out the hard way.

http://forum.avsim.n...p3d-pln-format/

After reading that thread, it seems that you have a bunch of FS9 pln files, which are text based as opposed to xml schema based. Any flight plan natively generated by FSX will be read by P3D.

well , that is not totally correct as I found out the hard way.

Ya. Those are FS2004 flight plans FS9.1. FSX/Prepar3D requires XML.

Hello Akila,

I was wondering which version of P3D you run VoxATC on.

I have v1.4 and and was able to install VoxATC 6.06 with the migration tool, but P3D crashes after a while. Sometimes at touching the throttles, sometimes in mid flight. My screen freezes and I have to end it with the taskmanager.

When I do the same flight without VoxATC, all goes well.....

Also when I want to use VoxATC, I gotta have the MigrationTool running. Is that the same with you?

Hope you can shed some light on this...

Regards,

Jaap

3) are the "Control" Settings (settings your Contorls, e.g. buttons, Axis, etc) is easy an intuitive as FSX?

Same.

4) SquawkBox and/or FSINN work with P3D?

SB4 yes.

5) 737NGX w/SP1c works with P3D?

Yes.

7) AES and/or GSX works with P3D?

AES no. GSX yes. (see my blog for a big compatibility list)

8) *.PLN / *.FLT are the same format as FSX? i.e. if I have PLN files imported from FSX, would they work on P3D?

Yes.

AES no. GSX yes. (see my blog for a big compatibility list)

actually AES works fine without a problem with my P3D.

it could be because I used the "FSX to Prepar3D Migration Tool" to Install it (AES) that it overcame

the compatibility issues you referring to.

Aerosoft said it themselves AES is not fully compatible because of Vistamare. So what is it now? I also used the tool.

I don't know what the reason is, all I can say is that AES is working perfectly fine for me on P3D, no Issues whatsoever, never had.
