FSX sign on issue

Recommended Posts

I recently purchased Wilco 777 and to date I am pleased with the product.

My problem is that when I sign on to FSX I get the following message that appears twice;

'Multiple objects with the same title name.They must have unique names.Boeing 777-223ER British Airways.Sim objects\Airplanes\Feel There B772ER'

I downloaded the original Wilco 777 and then added the British Airways model.

However,in the aircraft cfg there is only one model and not two i.e.the ba one.

I also do not have any other BA 777 in my airplanes folder.

I am therefore wondering what I need to do to get rid of the warning sign.

I would appreciate any help/advice.

You will get this message if you have two repaints of the same name. Look in the Wilco 777 folder for two texture files with the same name, ala, texture.BA, texture.BA, as well as the aircraft.cfg have two entries with the same [fltsim.xxx].

Alternatively,post your Wilco 777 aircraft folder and aircraft.cfg file here and we can then see where you are going wrong.

You have a duplicate somewhere, it might not be where you thought it was though.

Personally, I find 'Aircrafter' does a reasonable job of finding duplicates, it's a very slow and frustrating program to use though. Since finding duplicates isn't a common task required of fsx, it's bearable.

Edit:

Simviation has a download for it that doesn't require registration: http://www.simviation.com/fsxutilities1.htm
