Help! On start-up throttles are not at idle, set at 40/45% N1

Featured Replies

Has anyone a fix for this annoying problem! :Waiting:

The aircraft, can be the 600/700 or 800/900 variant makes no difference during the countdown at "3", the N1 increases to 40/45%, the aircraft then moves forward off its stand, and I have to apply the parking brake, quickly, to stop it crashing!!!

Go to lower panel and manually set them back to idle. I think it might be a setting in the profile, but I am not sure, if anyone can tell me how to fix it will be appreciated by a grateful pilot.

My flight control system is the X52 and not the X52 Pro,

I hope I have explained the problem clearly.

Thanks.

Clive.

Apparently, this is the reason why some 737 operators add throttle levers - idle into their checklists :)

anyway first things first - try moving the throttle itself a bit (on the X52) - might be that default flight has throttle partially open, and the simulator does not move it, not registering a movement signal from the joystick.

If this does not help, and throttles do not close fully, then you just need to calibrate...
