Upgrade to 747 V2

Hi All,

 

I've recently brought the 737 and MD11 for FSX and I can say I'm a massive fan.

 

I am also looking to buy the 747 but don't want to pay for the 747 and then have to pay the same again for V2. Does any body know if there will be an option to upgrade from one to the other?

Don't quote me but I doubt it very much since V2 will be a completely new build from the ground up using technology from the NGX.

 

If you have only just bought the NGX and MD11 then believe me you have more then enough to keep your hands full before the 744V2 is released.

In what learning terms you are learning Rob? Is it the same thing like you are having so much things to do with "A320"?

Not so much operating techinques in the way we have discussed regarding the A3xx. More about studying the qrh, abnormal procedures & handling failures, you never stop learning.

 

I guess the bulk of simmers only really scratch the surface of these products. I personally like to stick to one aircraft at a time in order to fully understand how it operates, not just fly it from A to B on the magenta line and get bored.

I read somewhere in PMDG forum that this is not an upgrade, v2 is a standalone version. cmiiw

747 v2 will follow the 777.

I would guess sometime late next year. Between the NGX and the T7 you should have more then enough to learn about and do until the Queen comes back.
