Has anyone tried out this freeware???

Im using it at the moment, has worked very well so far!

Maybe its just me but i struggle to see the point in it. I think that your awareness should be done by properly following the charts for most airports, and that you should know you're performing a deep landing without someone telling you haha

I can't seem to get it to work...no sound at all. Do I have to "put it somewhere" or just run it from the desktop?

Any hit on frame rate noticed?

No hit on framerate noticed, but im running a pretty spec'ed computer, its not about not reading the charts, just another real life feature to make the NGX more realistic. Dont have to put it anywhere, run it from desktop is fine - do you have FSUIPC installed? Its required, also you have to perform a different step to add in addon airport runways as it just uses the fsx defaults i think

People are made, to make mistakes. Our procedures and electronic safeguards, are meant to catch them. Nice addition in the real world for sure, and fun to have it simulated now.

 

I have found it a bit dodgy, sometimes working, sometimes not. Yes, I did the makerunway thing, and put it in the right place. But, after all it is free.
