Need a little help

So did a clean install. I have the following installed;

 

FTX= NRM, PFJ, CRM

Deleted the milky way

added high def moon

added stars data file

and did the swarmcloud fix which I don't think that really fixed anything.

 

Here is my problem, night sky see for yourself.

 

 

 

 

 

Its like a dark black band in the sky.

Any help would be much appreciated...!

Well most of the sky is fine. If you look carefully it's like a band of solid black. No stars clouds or anything. It's the weirdest thing I have come across. Only happens during the dusk/night flying...

I would re-install the original textures (hope you backed them up), then make sure you have everything working again. Then start step by step to see what may be causing this abnormality.

I´ll shift that to the normal FSX forum as the screen shots froum is the wrong place for it. I hope you can fix your problem there.

Okay I did some back tracking. This happened in my attempt to get rid of the not so good looking milky way. I replaced the files back in scenery, global, texture and all is fixed.

 

Now does anyone know how to make the milky way go away? It really bothers me while flying at night!

Another memember here posted a milky way fix that works well. Tried it myself and it only too a few seconds to do. See the link below.
