A Newbie Keystroke Question

Recommended Posts

I have been away from Flight Simulator for 5 years. Sorry for this very basic question.

When in Virtual cockpit mode, I can use the hat on my flightstick to look around. What keystroke do I use to move my view looking directly forward? I think there used to be something like this in FS 2004?

Thank You

(+) and (-) - next to backspace work for me to zoom in and out in virtual cockpit.

Hope this helps.

Edit: Just realized you are talking about "moving" not "zooming."

I have a hat switch on my yoke assigned for this. But, I believe the shortcut is shift+enter and shift+backspace to move forward and back. Sorry, I'm not by my FSX pc at the moment.

I have set this particular view to another key, but in your Settings - Controls, under Views, the keystroke would be next to Look Forward (3D Cockpit). Hope this is what you are referring to.
