USB Issues Solved

Recommended Posts

Hello Captains,

Not sure if this is the proper place to put this out there, as it's clear that it's not related to the NG, but I had asked the question in an earlier thread, so hoping this may help someone else who may experience the same issue.

I believe I have solved my issue with FSX not seeing my pedals and yoke on startup. I have a 7 port powered D-Link hub. FSX was seeing my throttle but not pedals and yoke, so I would have to physically unplug and plug back in the pedals and yoke in order for FSX to see them. It was simply a matter of plugging each one into a different port. Now after moving them to different slots, they seem to be active on startup. Just putting this out there for anyone else who may have or may come across this same issue.

Be aware that some hardware likes to be plugged in to a USB port directly attached to the motherboard, and not a hub (even a powered hub).

Worth trying if you're having problems with a hardware device....

Cheers,

Brian
