After 3 months of not flying : terrain.dll crashes in mountainous area

Hi all,

 

I really need your advices/tips on this.

 

Over the last couple of months I have been working on Belgium 2012 and did not fly outside the Netherlands/Belgium.

 

Yesterday I wanted to do a sightseing flight above Vienna and when loading the scenery at around 90% I was getting a CTD.

So I tried Munich and also got a CTD.

 

To cover a long story : when being in a mountainous area I am getting these CTD's and when the ground is flat no issues.

I remember in december I did some flights to Munich and Vienna with the 737 NGX and no problems at all.

 

I let FSX build a new cfg file, set sliders low , but no luck.

Over the last months I upgraded the Nvidia drivers and nothing else.

 

The windows log show that it is caused by an error in the terrain.dll file.

I tried with the pc not oc , but no luck either.

 

Now I am thinking of an issue with the graphics card.

 

 

All suggestions are welcome.

It appeared that the autogendescriptions.spb was corrupt.

I returned to the default one.
