Grey textures CDT problem

I have just moved to a new computer and it's working fine with other addons but has a problem with the PMDG 747 in FS9. At some point during the pre-flight cockpit setup, I would guess around 15 after loading the cold and dark state, FS9 gives the "needs to close bla bla bla" message and all the VC textures and model textures of the 747 are grey/white with no detail/colours. The 2D view still seems to work though. I don't get any specific OOM error messages though so I don't know what is causing it. I have tried the same flight twice and the exact same thing happens each time. The plane I am using is the 744F in FS9 with the Air France Cargo liver off the PMDG official download list on the main website. I am not sure if it does the same thing with other liveries so that could possibly be the issue.
