PMDG 747 EICAS Display question

Recommended Posts

hello everyone. I am wondering how come the Primary EICAS display in my PMDG747 has the extra 'EPR' shown (as it shows in the picture below). As I see others only has the 'N1', 'EGT' and the 'Mode Indications'. How do I get away the 'EPR' there?

If the 744 you're flying has the RR (or GE... can't remember which one) engine, that is a major indication. You can't get rid of it.

P&W and RR engines use EPR as the main thrust setting indication, GE uses N1. If you select a GE engine version of the 747 you won't see the EPR indication.
