Not sure if this is possible, but it would be incredible convenient if each of the door indicator lights on the overhead:

 

 

...was it's own clickspot to open that particular door.

Having the controls in the CDU is for sure easier then the default Shift+E+1/2/3/4 method, but I like to use FSDreamteam's GSX while doing my preflight, and it's mildly irritating getting beeped at to open a specific door and having to navigate away from the CDU page I'm working on to go to menu - options - door controls - and find the door they want me to open.

 

Any chance this could be implemented for the next patch?

And I was only thinking the same thing while using GSX today!

I have defined combos of Ctl +/- Shft and F1 to cover the doors I need, but that is an outstanding idea!

You can open doors page in CDU2 and work in CDU1 your preflight flow.

I'd also like this feature. But until it may arrive in the NGX I'm using it the same way the poster above does.

great idea! I dont know if its possible on an existing product like the NGX, but definitely smart for a new product if they can't do it for the NGX!
